Summer Dance Camp (solos, duos, trios)

June and July- 8 weeks (schedule based on teacher/student availability)

Looking to work on your skills with a private dance lesson, or with a friend or 2 this summer? Pick your teacher and pick your dance style. Either work on skills to improve or learn a short dance piece and perform it for an audience on July 30th at 6:00pm.

 

Musical Theatre Camp

Tue/ Wed/ Thu- during the month of July 10:00AM-2:00PM

Grades K-6

Instructor:Jaime Bingham

Students will participate in fun theatre games, improv and scene work and will work together to create a Musical production with song and movement for performance on July 31st at 6:00pm.

 

Theatre as Storytelling

Monday July 15 – Friday July 19 10:00AM – 2:00PM

Grades 5 – 9

Instructor: Brittany Daley

Participants will explore Theatre as a form of storytelling through the use of improv and theatre games, and ensemble activities. During the week participants will work together to create a short play and rehearse it for performance. On Friday July 19th, there will be a short performance open to friends and family of the play that was created.

 

Improv 101

Monday August 5 – Friday August 9 10:00AM – 2:00PM

Grades 5 – 9

Instructor: Brittany Daley

Have you ever wanted to be on “Whose Line is it Anyway?” or “Impractical Jokers?” come learn the fine art of “Making It Up As You Go” a.k.a Improvisation. Participants will learn the rules of Improv and how to create a successful character and a hilarious scene.  The week will be spent playing theatre games which will help participants refine their improv skills. On Friday there will be a short Improv performance open to friends and family.
